Philippians 4:11-13 CSB[11] I don’t say this out of need, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I find myself. [12] I know both how to make do with little, and I know how to make do with a lot. In any and all circumstances I have learned the secret of being content-whether well fed or hungry, whether in abundance or in need. [13] I am able to do all things through him who strengthens me.
The whole world is searching for contentment. Contentment can’t be found through external forces or circumstances. Satisfaction isn’t found in sacrifice or abundance. The secret of contentment is the mystery of the gospel Himself- Jesus Christ.
Knowing and being known by Jesus is the source of contentment. Peace and comfort are the results of being forgiven and justified by Christ. Contentment is found in trusting God and depending on Him in all things.
If you want contentment today, trust God that through Christ, He has met your greatest need and that in His mercy, He will supply all your daily needs.
