The best and most wonderful thing you can do today is to spend some time in the Word and think and reflect on God. Knowing God is the foundation to knowing yourself and your purpose in life. He is the source of meaning and true satisfaction, but He is more than the means to your end. God is more than anything else; He is the all-powerful, sovereign, Creator of all things! And He has made Himself known and made it known that He loves you. 

Take some time and read the Word, reflect on the truth, and pray. And as you do so, consider the words of Martyn Lloyd-Jones
